About Us
Ashore Fine Foods.
We created Ashore Fine Foods from scratch in 2007, as a gourmet grocery store in Birkenhead on Auckland's North Shore, N.Z. In 2008 we started selling online and in March 2013 we shifted our focus to being 100% online. Since 2018 we have been based in Havelock.
From the start we very quickly learnt from our customers what makes a good gift, and what doesn't. As part of this we also learnt that a lot of people have quite special dietary needs and choices, and that many of the widely-available products often don't match the quality they want. Based on our customer experience, we have made extended and refined our product range to offer quality vegan foods, which many of our customers purchase through choice rather than necessity.
